Is Candy Bar one of Detroit’s top Instagram/selfie spots? Absolutely. 📸
The restroom situation, though? A little more complicated.
Candy Bar shares one unisex restroom on the main floor with Bar Chenin and the Siren Hotel . The good news: it was clean, and the hand soap smelled incredible. Like… surprisingly memorable. 👌🏼
The downside is that one restroom has to handle a lot of traffic. Lines can build up, and with so many people moving through the hallways, it’s not the most accessible or convenient bathroom setup in the city.
There are additional restrooms in the basement, but it’s definitely a bit of a hike to get there.
Still, Candy Bar has the vibe, the cocktails, and the photo-worthy atmosphere. Just plan your bathroom break accordingly. 🥃
