Terms of Service

1. Acceptance, eligibility, and accounts

You must be at least 18, legally able to enter these Terms, and accept them before creating an account or submitting user content. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and accept responsibility for account activity. If you do not agree, do not use Shooki.

2. Community standards

You may not upload, post, or share:

• Sexual content, pornography, or nudity intended for sexual gratification.
• Content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors.
• Voyeurism, stalking, restroom "creep" content, or invasions of privacy.
• Identifiable images of people who have not consented, especially in restrooms.
• Harassment, hate, threats, bullying, violence, or illegal activity.
• Personal data, doxxing, spam, scams, impersonation, or fraudulent reviews.
• Content that infringes intellectual property or other rights.

You also may not abuse reporting systems, bypass restrictions, scrape Shooki data, reverse engineer the service, disrupt operations, or use Shooki for unauthorized commercial solicitation.

3. Reporting, blocking, and moderation

You can report objectionable reviews, comments, and users and block other users in the app. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, refuse submissions, and report unlawful content when necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, or comply with law.

4. User content

You own content you submit. You grant Shooki a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and use that content to operate, market, and improve Shooki. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit it.

5. Listings and safety

Restroom listings, reviews, ratings, photos, amenities, hours, and related details may be user-submitted or come from third parties. Shooki does not guarantee that a restroom will be available, clean, accessible, safe, or accurately described. Use locations at your own discretion.

6. Shooki property and third-party services

Shooki owns the app, software, design, brand, logo, and related intellectual property. Except for rights we expressly grant, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit Shooki. The service uses third-party providers for functions such as maps, hosting, authentication, analytics, email, notifications, and moderation; their terms may also apply.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Shooki is provided "as is" and "as available" without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shooki LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Our total liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Shooki in the prior 12 months or $100.

8. Indemnification and copyright

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Shooki LLC from claims arising from your use of Shooki, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights. Copyright complaints should identify the content and your rights and be sent to the email below.

9. Governing law, changes, and contact

These Terms are governed by Michigan law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue will be in Michigan unless applicable law requires otherwise.
