Barú’s room had a pulse during Shooki’s June 2026 visit: doors open, people moving between inside and outside, and summer seating doing real work when Detroit’s weather cooperated. The main bar looked cool but could be awkward to enter when crowded, with the usual uncertainty about where the line begins and who has been seen.
