Shooki’s Review of The Aladdin Sane

By Shooki · Reviewed June 2026

A cozy, moody Book Tower lounge where vinyl, one strong Old Fashioned, and capable service gave Shooki the nightcap it wanted after Hiroki-San.

The Aladdin Sane felt like its own warm, moody world on Shooki’s June 8, 2026 visit, with vinyl in the background and a capable service experience. The one Old Fashioned Shooki ordered was strong; that single drink does not amount to a broad test of the cocktail list or menu.

Its Book Tower connection worked especially well after dinner at Hiroki-San. Shooki moved between the two indoors, making the lounge an easy first-person nightcap pairing without claiming that every guest or service will follow the same pattern.

Best for

  • A moody Book Tower nightcap
  • Dinner at Hiroki-San followed by an indoor lounge pairing
  • Guests drawn to warm vinyl-backed atmosphere

Less ideal for

  • Readers seeking a comprehensive cocktail-menu test
  • Visitors requiring verified step-free route or door details
  • Anyone who needs a confirmed inventory for every restroom room

The Aladdin Sane and Hiroki-San use the same shared Book Tower restroom zone. Across this photo set, at least 4 WC doors and exactly 3 sinks at the separate shared counter were visible. Two distinct toilet-room interiors were photographed: a standard room with 1 toilet and no visible grab bars, and a larger room with 1 toilet and multiple grab bars. Soap, a diffuser, and paper towels were visible at the outside sinks; no changer was visible in the two photographed interiors.

The photos do not establish that every room was inspected. Exact room total, designation parity, changer parity, the step-free route, door operation, dimensions, and legal accessibility remain unknown.
