Wet Picnic is a vibe.
Great drinks, great lighting, and the kind of room you already know is going to live on Instagram. People will come here for the cocktails, stay for the glow, and absolutely sneak in a photo or two for the gram.
It’s a small bar, which honestly works in its favor. You’re close to everyone, whether you planned on it or not. A little forced intimacy, a little Detroit charm, and probably a good conversation with a stranger before the night is over.
Now, for the important stuff.
The bathroom is tucked away in the back, down a candlelit hallway that feels moody, cool, and very on-brand. But once you get there, the practicality starts to fall short.
There’s only one bathroom for the whole place, and it’s not the easiest to get to, so accessibility is definitely a concern. Once inside, the space is small, dark, and functional, but not much more than that.
I wanted to give this one a 7/10, but with only one bathroom and a tougher layout, it lands at a 6/10.
Still, Wet Picnic has the atmosphere. No question.
