The Shooki Review

Visited June 2026

Mink is a tight squeeze.

Not in a bad way. More like the kind of place built for two people, a date night, a couple drinks, maybe some oysters when the season is right, and a room small enough that you can’t really hide from the vibe.

I was just there for drinks this time. Some vino, a cocktail for a friend, and honestly, we were feeling it.

That said, this isn’t the kind of place you just casually pile into with a big group and hope for the best. It’s small, intimate, and you should plan accordingly. And if it’s packed, no panic — walk over to Alpino. Solid backup move.

Now, the restrooms.

They have two private unisex restrooms that appear to be shared with Folk next door. On paper, that sounds like a capacity issue waiting to happen, but thankfully, I didn’t run into that problem.

And man, I was impressed.

I was not expecting one of the nicest, cleanest restroom setups I’ve seen in Corktown.

Baby changing station. 🚼 Clean. ✨ Smelled great. 💐 Hand towels. 🧻💅🏻 Even a cleaning chart showing when it was last checked. Props for that. 📒👏🏼

The only real knock is accessibility. Unfortunately, it’s not the easiest setup for everyone. 🚫♿️

But outside of that, I’ve got to say it — this might be the nicest bathroom in Corktown I’ve reviewed so far.
