TV Lounge is a Detroit staple.
No question.
I’ve been coming here for years, and somehow it only feels more like itself every time. Louder. Weirder. Better. More Detroit.
If you’re looking for that late-night, no-frills, Detroit techno experience — this is the place. The kind of spot where you start the night, end the night, lose track of the night, or maybe even tailgate a Cass Tech football game if the spirit moves you. Lol.
TV Lounge is not trying to be polished. That’s not the point. You come here for music, movement, drinks, strangers, chaos, and that specific Detroit energy you can’t really manufacture.
This is a party spot. Plain and simple.
Now, the restrooms.
They have male and female options. I reviewed the men’s restroom.
And honestly, the rating probably won’t shock anyone who’s been here before.
This is not the place you come to for a pristine bathroom experience. This is the place where I tell my Shooki followers: make your bathroom stop before you get here.
Just being real.
The restroom situation lands at a 2/10.
But TV Lounge itself? Still a Detroit classic. Still worth a stop. Still one of those places every visitor should experience at least once if they want a little taste of the city after dark.
Come for the music. Come for the scene. Just plan accordingly. 📺🥂🍭
