The Roost is one of those quiet neighborhood spots that feels like it belongs exactly where it is.
Tucked into historic Woodbridge, it has that calm Detroit morning energy — coffee in hand, old homes around you, a patio that probably hits just right when the weather finally remembers how to act. It's cute, it's quiet, and it's more than coffee: there's a little market setup, so you can browse, pick up something you didn't know you needed, and tell yourself you're supporting local when you really came in for the vibe.
Still a great little coffee shop, especially on a summer day.
