How have the kids not found this place yet?
Cheap drinks. A proper Guinness off the draft, arguably the best pint in Michigan. Live music that actually has a pulse. And the craic? Mighty.
For $25 a year you get a membership, parking, and a little slice of Ireland sitting in the heart of Corktown. People spend more than that on one appetizer downtown.
The Gaelic League feels like something from another time, in the best way. Old-school community-hall energy — families coming in, locals mingling, kids running around, someone grabbing a pint, someone else picking up a few steps to the fiddle in the corner.
No velvet rope. No fake exclusivity. No $19 cocktail pretending to be art. Just people, music, Guinness, and a room that knows what it's for. I haven't seen anything else like it in Michigan.
