The Gaelic League felt like a community gathering place from another era in the best sense: families and regulars sharing the room, live music with a pulse, and none of the velvet-rope performance that can flatten a night out. Shooki found the drinks inexpensive and offered subjective high praise for the Guinness.
This is important context: the Gaelic League is a member social club, not a conventional walk-in public pub. The official Irish-American Club membership is open to adults 18 and older, costs $25 at the bar or $28 online, and alcohol is served only to members and guests age 21 or older.
