A 1924 church off Boston Edison, now a cafe and bar that kept the stained glass and turned the pews into communal tables. Coffee and cocktails, bagels and pastries early, flatbreads and dips later, and a lawn that operates as an unofficial neighbourhood backyard. Food trucks, a farmers market, yoga, support groups. The light through those windows is doing a lot of the work and everybody knows it.
