Shooki’s Review of Sunda New Asian

By Shooki · Reviewed June 2026

A polished downtown date-night room with thoughtful lighting, multiple spaces, and an approachable bar—balanced by difficult, expensive event-area parking.

Sunda sits where downtown traffic, games, and concerts can turn parking into the first part of the experience. Shooki found it expensive and frustrating around events; the venue’s discounted valet may be the more practical move when the district is busy.

Inside, the first-hand impression was much easier: multiple dining rooms, strong decor, good lighting, and a bar that felt approachable even without committing to a full table. The atmosphere read polished without becoming stiff, making it feel naturally suited to date night. This perspective is intentionally limited to the room, layout, bar access, and parking—not the food or service.

Best for

  • A polished downtown date night
  • Guests who like an approachable bar option
  • Dinner plans before a game or concert

Less ideal for

  • Drivers avoiding event-area parking costs
  • Readers seeking a food or service verdict

Restroom verdict

Both private gender-neutral rooms were reviewed as clean and thoughtful, with one interior photo-documented; two-room capacity could tighten during major downtown crowds.

Restroom inventory
2 total — 2 private gender-neutral rooms
Review coverage
Both private rooms reviewed; doors documented for 2 of 2, fixture details photo-documented for 1 of 2 interiors
Room reviewed
Both private gender-neutral rooms in writing; one interior at fixture level
Reviewed room fixtures
1 stall/toilet · 0 urinals · 1 sink
Accessibility evidence
Grab bars and a baby-changing station were visible in the photo-documented room · Overall accessibility remains unknown
Accessibility status
Unknown · The reviewer’s positive access impression and visible grab bars do not establish the complete route or formal compliance.
Why this score
The 8/10 reflects two private rooms, strong cleanliness, smell, soap, changing equipment, and thoughtful presentation, with peak-event capacity and incomplete second-room fixture documentation limiting the score.
Layout
Two private gender-neutral rooms sit left of the entrance; both doors and one distinct interior were photographed.
Capacity
Two private rooms serve a large downtown venue, which may create waits during games, concerts, and busy weekends.

Sunda has two private gender-neutral rooms just left of the entrance, and Shooki’s written review covers both. They were described as clean, pleasant-smelling, thoughtfully stocked, and equipped with new baby-changing stations.

Photos establish both doors and one interior at fixture level: one toilet, one sink, grab bars, a changing station, soap, and paper towels. The other room’s fixture parity is unknown. Shooki’s visit-level accessibility impression is recorded as an observation only; step-free routing and formal compliance were not assessed.
