This used to be the old 8 degrees Plato spot. I hate to say it but I honestly liked their layout/decor better than what they have now. Maybe it’s a work in progress? I hear they are fairly new.
Nevertheless, they had some great beer options and I had some great conversations with a few people so you can tell it’s got a community family/vibe going for them. A little hipster, but nothing wrong with that 🥸
Restrooms are located towards the back and are shared with a business(s) in the building.
A bit eerie. I felt like I was in a very Detroit public restroom. Like a restroom outside of the people mover or something.
Bare minimum amenities. They had (2) stalls but this restroom wasn’t clean at all.

Meantime is a new neighborhood beer, wine, and cocktail bar that opened in 2025 in the former 8 Degrees Plato space in the Cass Corridor. Early reviewers highlight the rotating craft beer selection, community-focused vibe, and quirky touches like a magic-8-ball mystery drink.
