Woody’s Grand Lake Review & Bathroom Guide

Presque Isle, Michigan

Cold beer after a run by the lake. Good craic with the locals. Nothing flashy, nothing trying too hard. Woody’s delivers a solid northern Michigan stop.

Shooki’s Review of Woody’s Grand Lake

Cold beer after a run by the lake. Good craic with the locals. Nothing flashy, nothing trying too hard. Woody’s delivers a solid northern Michigan stop.

Beautiful day for a run by the lake.

And after that? There are few better rewards than a cold beer at Woody’s on Grand Lake.

Northern Michigan has a way of giving you exactly what you didn’t know you needed. A quiet road, a lake breeze, a random stop, and suddenly you’re sitting at a bar talking to locals like this was the plan all along.

Woody’s delivers.

There aren’t a ton of options around this part of the state, but honestly, you don’t really need many when one spot gives you this much. Grocery store connected. Boat ramp nearby. Ice cream. Restaurant. Bar. A little bit of everything wrapped into one very Michigan setup.

I went for the bar.

Had some good craic with the locals, grabbed a drink, and honestly walked away pretty impressed with the overall vibe. Nothing flashy. Nothing trying too hard. Just a solid lake-town stop where the beer tastes better because you earned it outside first.

Best for

  • A cold beer after earning it outside first
  • Talking to locals at a laid-back lake-town bar
  • A solid stop around Presque Isle or Grand Lake

Less ideal for

  • Luxury restroom amenities or a wild design moment

The reel documents one men’s room: MEN and wheelchair signage, two urinals, two basins, wall soap dispenser, hand dryer, and one toilet compartment with grab rails, a toilet-paper dispenser and a folded baby changing station. No additional room inventory, full fixture totals or stall lock operation were established. Now, the restrooms.

They covered the bases at a minimal but solid level. Relatively accessible, enough capacity, and pretty clean. ♿️✨

No wild design moment. No luxury amenities. But for a lake-area bar/restaurant setup, it did what it needed to do, and that counts.
