Octopus’ Beer Garden Review & Bathroom Guide
Mount Clemens, Michigan
Go on a warm day. Grab a drink. Catch a band. Watch the boats. Stay longer than planned. This might already be one of my favorite summer spots in Michigan. 7/10.

Go on a warm day. Grab a drink. Catch a band. Watch the boats. Stay longer than planned. This might already be one of my favorite summer spots in Michigan. 7/10.
This place feels like Key West, Berlin, and a Michigan river bar somehow got drunk and built something together.
Live music. Boats coming and going. Fire pits. Yard games. Cold drinks. Great service. Enough room to bring the whole crew and let the day turn into whatever it wants to become.
It’s one of those rare spots that makes you feel like you left the city without actually driving that far.
And yes, even though it’s in Mount Clemens, this might already be one of my favorite summer spots in Michigan.
Best for
- Live music, boats coming and going, fire pits and yard games
- Cold drinks, great service and bringing the whole crew
- A warm day that turns into staying longer than planned
Less ideal for
- Small restrooms once the place gets packed
- The capacity and accessibility concerns I described in my caption

Restroom verdict
Clean, well maintained, and some fun decor. But they’re small. They held up fine earlier in the day; I could see capacity becoming an issue once the place gets packed. 7/10.
- Restroom inventory
- 1 reviewed area — 1 shared men’s restroom and 1 women’s restroom; total venue room count unknown
- Review coverage
- Men and Women entrances appear in my reel. Selected images are still frames from that August 4, 2026 post. The men’s interior shows one keg urinal, one basin, one toilet stall, paper dispensers and grab bars; no full room capacity or venue-wide inventory established. Women’s interior was not reviewed.
- Room reviewed
- One shared men’s restroom from my Octopus’ Beer Garden visit
- Accessibility status
- Unknown · My caption reports small restrooms and concern that capacity and accessibility could become difficult when busy. Grab bars are visible, but full routes, measurements and accessibility compliance were not verified.
- Why this score
- Clean and well maintained during my early-day visit, with fun decor. Small restrooms and potential crowd-time capacity concerns keep it at 7/10.
- Layout
- My review covers the restrooms described in my caption and documented in the selected reel stills. Complete venue room designations and counts were not recorded.
- Capacity
- They held up fine earlier in the day. I could see capacity becoming an issue when the place gets packed; complete room and fixture totals were not recorded.
Now, the restrooms.
They were clean, well maintained, and had some fun decor.
But they’re small.
I visited earlier in the day, and they held up fine. Once this place gets packed, though, I could see capacity and accessibility becoming an issue quickly. 🚫♿️
Octopus’ Beer Garden lands at a 7/10.
