Churchill Pointe Inn Review & Bathroom Guide
Hubbard Lake, Michigan
My move? Sit by the water, order a bottle of wine and let the lake do the talking. A proper meal, warm service, and a reason to put the phone down and stare at the water.

My move? Sit by the water, order a bottle of wine and let the lake do the talking. A proper meal, warm service, and a reason to put the phone down and stare at the water.
If you’re making your way up on the east side of northern Michigan, find the time to stop at Hubbard Lake.
Especially on a warm summer evening.
Churchill Pointe Inn has been sitting on this picturesque little peninsula since 1926, quietly doing something most places have forgotten how to do: giving people a proper meal, warm service, and a reason to put the phone down and stare at the water.
The place is celebrating 100 years at the lake, and you can feel that history. Not manufactured nostalgia. Real history. The kind built slowly through family dinners, summer vacations, anniversary celebrations, and generations returning to the same view.
This is more than a restaurant. It’s a small family run inn.
My move? Sit by the water, order a bottle of wine and let the lake do the talking.
They have everything you need beer, wine, and most importantly champagne my friends, lovely champagne.
Steaks, oysters, and Great Lake fish 👌🏼
During my visit, this place was busy. My advice from that evening: reserve ahead.
Best for
- A warm summer evening on Hubbard Lake
- Dinner, a bottle of wine and letting the lake do the talking
- A place with history and warm service
Less ideal for
- A spacious, modern restroom with upgraded amenities
- Arriving without planning when dinner service is busy

Restroom verdict
Clean, decent capacity and relatively accessible during my visit, although it wasn’t that spacious. The dated decor, older toilets and basic amenities kept it at 6/10.
- Restroom inventory
- 1 reviewed area — 1 shared men’s restroom; total venue room count unknown
- Review coverage
- Photos establish one shared restroom with one urinal, one toilet stall, one basin, pump soap, a paper towel dispenser, toilet paper and a grab rail in the photographed stall. The men’s designation is inferred from the urinal rather than a photographed MEN door sign. My caption reports decent capacity without specifying an exact room count. Other rooms, complete building inventory, further fixture totals and stall lock operation were not established.
