David Whitney Jr.'s 1894 mansion on Woodward, running as a restaurant for over thirty years: granite arches, crystal, stained glass, a piano going most nights. The kitchen does creative American with a lot of seafood. Up on the third floor the Ghostbar pours the Witching Hour Martini and leans into the house's reputation for being haunted. Expensive, theatrical, and worth it for the building alone.
