Meats & Mooore Review & Bathroom Guide
Bay City, Michigan
The food side, though? Completely different story. If you’re in Bay City, check this place out. Grab some meat, order a sandwich, hit the BBQ, and thank yourself later.

Bay City keeps surprising me.
I don’t know what’s going on up there, but every time I pass through, there’s some hidden gem sitting there like it’s been waiting for the rest of Michigan to catch up.
Meats & Mooore is insane.
Part butcher shop. Part deli. Part BBQ joint. Part “wait… why the hell don’t we have more places like this?” kind of experience.
You walk in and immediately realize this is not some sad grocery-store meat counter situation. They’ve got a serious selection of meats, prime steaks, and even Snake River Farms Wagyu sitting there like a beautiful little cheat code for anyone who takes grilling seriously.
That alone is enough to get my attention.
But then off to the side, they’re slinging deli sandwiches that are absolutely out of this world. The kind of sandwich that makes you stop talking for a minute and just respect the construction.
And then, because apparently that wasn’t enough, there’s a full-on BBQ setup out back.
Bay City, what are we doing here?
This place is a meat lover’s fever dream hiding in plain sight.
Best for
- A butcher shop, deli and BBQ joint in one place
- A serious meat selection, prime steaks and Wagyu
- Deli sandwiches that make you stop talking and respect the construction
Less ideal for
- The restroom’s basic amenities and missing hand soap during my visit
The Shooki Bathroom Review
First-party restroom record · Source published July 2026
Restroom verdict
Fairly clean, but I would’ve liked it a little cleaner. Basic amenities and no hand soap during my visit keep the restroom at 6/10.
- Restroom inventory
- 1 reviewed area — 2 private gender-neutral rooms; total venue room count unknown
- Review coverage
- Two doors carry combined male/female restroom signs. Photos establish one distinct private room with a toilet, basin, grab rail, toilet paper, paper towels, wall soap dispenser and pump bottle. My caption reports no hand soap available during the visit; visible dispensers do not establish that usable soap was stocked. The second interior, locking operation and complete venue inventory were not established.
- Room reviewed
- One of the two signed all-gender private restrooms from my Meats & Mooore visit
- Accessibility status
- Unknown · The room felt relatively accessible during my visit and a grab rail is photographed. Complete routes, measurements and accessibility compliance were not verified.
- Why this score
- Fairly clean during my visit, but not quite at the level of the rest of the place. Basic amenities and being out of hand soap hurt the score. 6/10.
- Layout
- Photos show two doors with combined male/female restroom signs. I reviewed one private interior; the second interior and complete venue room and fixture totals were not recorded.
- Capacity
- Complete venue room and fixture totals were not recorded during my visit.
Now, the restroom.
It lands at a 6/10 for me.
Fairly clean, but I would’ve liked it to be a little cleaner. Amenities were pretty basic, and they were out of hand soap during my visit, which is always going to hurt the score.
Cleanliness and stocked essentials matter. Especially on Shooki.
So the restroom was fine, but not quite at the level of the rest of the place. It’s relatively accessible as well.
